Volunteer Position Description

Mission

Help introduce the Coalition’s vision to communities and inspire the next generation by sharing the story of Christian witness on Earth and in the heavens.

Position Summary

Support local outreach. Make calls, gather simple survey responses, canvass with a partner, table at events, sit in on meetings, and give short presentations when asked. Add interested people to the group chat used in your area.

• Reports to: Pedro Calderon [or local lead]
• Location: Field-based within your region
• Type: Volunteer
• Time: Flexible, two to five hours per week
• Travel: Local travel, occasional regional trips

Core responsibilities

• Calls and surveys
  • Make friendly calls using a short script. Log answers in the form provided.
• Canvassing
  • Visit assigned areas with a partner. Use the one page handout and the QR sign up form.
• Events and tabling
  • Help host a table after services or at community events with permission. Collect signups.
• Meetings and presentations
  • Attend occasional parish or campus meetings. Share the two-five minute overview. Hand out flyers or request that flyers be mailed from the main office.
• Recruiting and follow up
  • Add new contacts to the local channel Facebook group or WhatsApp or GroupMe. Send the welcome message and the next step.
• Promotion and referrals
  • Share the link for model and merch sales using the local referral code. Mention the buy one donate one idea for parishes.
• Reporting
  • Update the tracker after each shift. Submit a short weekly tally.
• Compliance
  • Follow 501(c)(3) rules at all times.

• Calls made and surveys completed

• Monthly shout outs and certificates
• Impact levels with small gifts such as a patch or model discount
• Parish or campus friendly competitions
